Hobart to Devonport and around

Nov 30th till Dec. 14th.

New Norfolk - Ouse - Bronte Park - Queenstown - Zeehan - Tullah - Cradle Mountain - Lower Wilmot - Devonport

bikedays: 5
km: 227

Australia can be very small, many times I met people twice or more. .  six months ago, I met Rogere from England on the Stuart Highway, close to Katherine.

He was on the way from Darwin to Hobart, walking !!!   when I left Hobart, heading northwest, I met Rogere again, on the bikepath !!!

cycling became more and more "pain in the a..", too much headwind.. from Ouse to Bronte Park I got a lift and from there I took a bus to Queenstown. from Tullah I again took a bus to Cradle Mountain.

20 countries, over 3 years, 28.000km..... great experience :-)

Peter & Sue Huber, my awesome hosts in Lower Wilmot ! thank you so much !! Peter comes originally from Switzerland

after Lower Wilmot I arrived back in Devonport. I wanted to explore more of Tasmania, but not by pushbike, I was not more motivated to cycle against the wind and I rent a car...  and big pleasure, I met Rob from Munich, member of "Australienfreunde München" (http://www.australienfreundemuenchen.de), who was travelling with his buddy Rob on Tasmania. we met each other in Launceston..   awesome reunion :-)
